FIR against BJP MLA

The Lokayukta police on Monday registered an FIR against Rajarajeshwarinagar BJP MLA M Srinivas in a disproportionate assets case.

Dinesh Kallahalli in his complaint, accused the MLA of amassing wealth disproportionate to his income.

Dinesh has stated that the MLA has been holding public position since 1983, after he became MLA of Uttarahalli from the Janata Party. In 1998, he was elected as an MP.

Then, he had declared his assets. In 2007, Srinivas again declared his assets to the Lokayukta stating that they were worth Rs 19 crore.

The complainant has alleged that there is a Rs 300-crore difference.
