CBI seizes bank accounts of MP's firms

Within twenty four hours of summoning Kadappa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the disproportionate asset case, the CBI on Tuesday seized the bank accounts of his flagship companies, Jagati publications and Janani Infra.

Jagan’s Jagati Publications owns his media companies Sakshi TV and Telugu Newspaper Sakshi. According to the CBI sources, the frozen accounts of these companies were with the Oriental Bank of Commerce and State Bank of India.

The CBI seized the assets under sections 102 B of the CRPC to block the media business operations of Jaganmohan Reddy. Jagan’s media has been lambasting the Kiran Government.
