Professional skills training programme 

Thomson Reuters has announced the introduction of a professional skills training programme for lawyers in India. The Legal Advancement Program is designed to prepare qualified lawyers for their careers. Those who complete the programme will gain practical legal skills in five key areas namely, contract drafting, legal writing, legal research, trial advocacy and civil procedure. Talent Scholarship for 2012

Jain College and Jain University have launched Talent Scholarship 2012 for deserving students under various categories. The scholarship supports and encourages talented students in sports, arts, music, dance and other literary categories with a strong foot in academics. It will be granted based on the eligibility criteria set for each category. For those already pursuing their education at both these institutions, scholarship will be granted based on their previous year’s performance.
