HRD Minister Kapil Sibal today assured the students seeking admission in Delhi university that there would be "no problem" of the kind they faced last year when the cut-off touched 100 per cent.

The Minister's reaction came in reply to a question posed by reporters here a day after the CBSE 12 results were announced. According to statistics, over 3000 students have scored more than 95 per cent this year.

"We corrected the problems last year. There will be no problem this year...why do you worry," the Minister said.

The high cut-off marks, including 100 per cent in one of Delhi's famous colleges, for admission last year triggered panic among students with the Minister coming out strongly against it and assuring parents that the government would intervene in the matter.

Meanwhile, one of the principals of a leading college here felt the cut-off this year would become clear only after June 22 when the forms are screened by the colleges.
The last date for filling up forms for admission to programmes this year is June 18.
