<p>Responding to the resignation of Congress leader Siddaramaiah to the post of Leader of Opposition, JD(S) leader and MP H D Kumaraswamy said he was confident that Siddaramaiah would take apt decision, bearing his expertise and rich background in politics. <br /><br /></p>.<p>He was speaking to mediapersons before he set out to inaugurate his party office in Nagamangala in the district. Giving a rather ambiguous answer to the question whether Siddaramaiah would join JD(S), HD Kumaraswamy said time was inappropriate to answer the question. <br /><br />“However, Congress party does not treat its people and leaders with due respect,” he said, adding this was the general feeling among party workers. <br /><br />Stating that Siddaramaiah is an experienced politician who had gained experience as a statesman since ages, HDK said his party hopes to come back in solidarity with all the leaders who had built it earlier. <br /><br />Criticising the Global Investors Meet, HDK said this was being done to pave way for more corruption. <br /><br />“Proof for this lies in the fact that many agreements and MoUs signed in 2010 were still lying unexecuted, and as mere numbers,” he added. <br /><br />MP N Cheluvaraya Swamy, MLAs B Ramakrishna, M Srinivas, Kalpana Siddaraju and others were present on the occasion.<br /></p>
