Teachers told to strive for quality education

 Speaking after inaugurating Guruspandana programme held at Devarayasamudram in the taluk, recently, he suggested that teachers should identify the hidden talents in students and encourage their pupils without any bias. In addition to school curriculum, the teachers should also impart moral education, inculcate patriotism and human values, concern for environment in students.

President of Taluk Primary School Teachers Association K V Jagannath, who spoke on the occasion said that the officers of the Education Department should address the grievances of the teachers without any discrimination. He sought the authorities to suggest solution for lack of infrastructure at schools and treat teachers with respect.

Gram Panchayat president Changalarayappa, Assistant Education Officer G Munivenkatappa, resource person Anand and others were present.
