JOIN USA 13-year-old was allegedly stabbed to death by a 15-year-old boy over minor argument at a tea shop at Ghazipurin north-east Delhi, police said.
Police said the juvenile who committed the murder was held from the spot by eyewitnesses who handed him over to police. A murder case has been registered and he has been sent to a child observation home.
The deceased was identified as Shahrukh, a native of Ghaziabad. He had come in the area along with his father. His father works as an electrician with Ghazipur meat market.
“The juvenile who was held for murder used to work at victim’s father’s workplace. He was sacked by the victim’s father for some reasons,” said a police officer.
The officer further said Shahrukh was having tea when he met the juvenile at the tea shop. “Both had some an argument. After a while, the juvenile stabbed Shahrukh with a knife. He was nabbed soon after the incident. Shahrukh was rushed to Kailash Hospital where he was declared brought dead,” said the officer.
Police, however, did not reveal the reason behind the argument and what led him to stab the other boy.
