By protecting environment, one will get pure air and pure drinking water.”<br /><br />The Pollution Control Board has been creating awarenss on organic farming, bio fuel and increasing greenery. CMC Commissioner N M Shashikumar, DDPI (in charge) Machado, DDPI (retd) N A Ramaswamy were felicitated. <br /><br />An environment jatha was flagged off by district and sessions judge S R Somashekar. <br />Club Mahindra organised a programme to mark environment day at Government PU College. A jatha which was flagged off by CMC President H M Nandakumar passed through main streets of Madikeri. <br /></p>
