<p> Hindustan Aeronautics Sports Club (HASC) and Army Service Corps (ASC) dished out a disappointing performance for a strong Sunday crowd, playing out a goalless draw in the BDFA Super Division league match at the Bangalore Football stadium here.<br /><br />The game was marked by quite a number of missed opportunities for both the teams. <br />ASC had the first shot on goal in the eighth minute when Nitesh Barailly broke through from the left before firing wide. <br /><br />In the 20th minute, HASC’s Vinod Kumar dribbled past couple of defenders but was not able to put the ball past ASC custodian Shantanu Kar. </p>.<p><br />Satish Kumar had an opportunity to slam the opening goal for HASC when he went clear off a through ball from Karthigeyan in the 26th minute. Satish, however, smashed the ball straight into Kar’s hands. Jotin Singh almost opened the account for ASC in the 30th minute with a fine header but the ball just sailed over.</p>.<p><br />Yet another chance went abegging for the Army outfit through a header, Ramachandran’s attempt flying over the crosspiece in the 41st minute. <br /><br />After the break, HASC looked the more lively side, cutting through ASC defence regularly. <br />In the 63rd minute, RC Prakash raised the hopes of HASC supporters with a free kick from the edge of the box but the ball was punched away to safety by Kar. <br /><br />ASC’s Deepak Panth then struck a shot from the right but HASC custodian Amar Deb made a brilliant save. Aroj Saikh, who came in for Ganga Bahadur in the 80th minute, fired a long-ranger three minutes from time but, unfortunately, the ball hit the post.<br />Other result: ‘A’ Division: Bangalore Mars: 1 (Deepak 8th) bt LRDE: 0. </p>
