Kerekatte receives 228 mm rain

Heavy rains lashed Chikmgalur district on Monday. In the last 24 hours, Kerekatte has received highest of 228 mm rain.

River Thunga is flowing  to the brim, at Kalasa. With the region receiving heavy rain, the temperature has come down drastically.

The rain received in other hoblis are as follows: Chikmagalur town—5.8 mm, Vasthare—21.6 mm, Joladal—18 mm, Aldoor—24.3 mm, K R Pete—13.9 mm, Athigundi—19 mm, Sangameshwarpete—24 mm, Byaruvalli—18.8 mm, Kalasapura—5 mm, Malaloor—3 mm, Dasarahalli—4 mm, Kadur—9 mm, Yagati—3.6 mm, Koppa—48.2 mm, Hariharapura—29.2 mm, Jayapura—48.6 mm, Kammaradi—83.5 mm, Basarikatte—28.5 mm, Mudigere—33.7 mm, Kottigehara—122 mm, Javali—64.3 mm, Gonibeedu—22 mm, Kalasa—75.4 mm, Balehonnur—32 mm, Sringeri—63.8 mm, Kigga—103 mm.
