The police team has sharpened its investigations with regard to the murder of an unidentified woman at a lodge in Virajpet Filed Marshall Cariappa road, said Southern Range IGP A S N Murthy.
Visiting the spot where the woman was murdered, along with SP Manjunath Annigeri, the IGP said that the cops have the suspect’s photograph in possession. With this the case can be solved easily. All police stations have been informed, to ensure that the suspect does not escape from the state, he said.
The fingerprint experts who visited the spot have not found any clue from the crime scene.
While IGP visited the murder spot, DYSP Annappanayak, Gangadhar Swami, Gonikoppa Circle Inspector Shailendra Kumar, Sun Inspector Anup Madhappa and others were present.
