Security guard battered to death

A security guard was battered to death at a farm house in Sainik Farm of south Delhi on Thursday, police said.

Bacha Ram, 30 was found in a semi-naked condition and his head was smashed by stones.

“We received a call that a man was lying unconscious at W-13 Lane Western Avenue Sainik Farm around 3:30 am. We rushed to the spot and found a man lying in a pool of blood.He was unconscious and semi-naked,” said a police officer.  
 The police team rushed him to AIIMS where doctors declared him brought dead. He succumbed to his head injuries.

A case of murder has been registered with Neb Sarai police station.

Police found that Ram lived in the farm house, whose owner is Ajit Singh Chaddha.

He was employed as a care taker as well, in the farm house. Police also found that Ram’s friend Suraj was also present at the farm house during the incident.

Suspicious statement

“We have gone through the mobile details of the victim. Suraj is being questioned and we have recorded his statement,” said a senior police officer, adding Suraj is altering his statement.
