Materials to print fake Jaswant Singh's book on Jinnah seized

Rupa and Company, the publishers of the book "Jinnah: India, Partition, Independence", had complained to the Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore Police that pirated versions of the book had hit the market.
"We had complained to all the three city police about the rampant piracy of the book," Rupa and Company, Chairman, R K Mehra told PTI.

He said searches were carried out by a team, led by DCP (Enforcement), Mumbai police, Sheila Sail, at various locations in the Maharashtra's capital and 26 gunny bags of sheets to be bused for illegal printing were seized, along with the book's plates, from a press.
The police have also seized all the printing equipment at the press and arrested four persons, he said. However, the distributor is still absconding.

The publisher's advocate Jyoti Taneja said the police have also seized pirated books of some other publishers.
