JOIN USHP on Wednesday announced a series of support services primarily targeting the cloud deployments, which are seeing rapid adoption in India.
The “Always On Support” service is a combination of intelligent tools and intuitive understanding of individual customers that proactively resolves problems at the data centre and cloud, reducing downtime and bringing down first time resolution rate in performance.
Addressing the press to announce the support portfolio, HP’s VP-General Manager, Technology Service and Support for APJ Howard Bowland said the new services bring down first time resolution rates by 95 per cent and resolves occurrences of unplanned downtime by 66 per cent, thereby saving costs and impact on the business.
Provided as three components: Foundation Care, Proactive Care and Data Centre Care - the support services offer “a personalised, proactive and simple” service for customers keeping in mind that the present day environment has been teamed with multi-vendor solutions.
