Two young women end lives

In a span of three days, two young women have committed suicide allegedly by hanging in Kuvempunagar police limits in the city.

Pallavi (24), a resident of ninth cross, E and F block, Ramakrishna Nagar took the extreme step on Tuesday afternoon.

Daughter of Srinivas Rao, a surveyor and Vasundara, a teacher, Pallavi resorted to kill self, when nobody was at home.

Quoting relatives, the police said that Pallavi may have taken the extreme step for remaining jobless, despite of having a degree and pursuing diploma in Karnataka State Open University (KSOU).

Homemaker

In another case reported on Sunday, the deceased is identified as Chandrakala (25) a homemaker, and resident of M block in Kuvempunagar. 

Chandrakala’s husband Ravish, a civil contractor, had gone outside with his daughter. Chandrakala who was upset,  hung self, leaving behind one year old son in the hall.
