<p>Anyone who assumed that Sonali Bendre has both witnessed and passed her peak in the film industry can think again — the actress has proved the adage about getting better with age by bagging a role in the sequel to the 2010-blockbuster, Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Apparently, Sonali will be playing a highly significant role in the film — the character has been chalked out by director Milan Luthria, who is known to be the master of unusual casting, especially for the actress. <br /><br />Says the director, “I’m thrilled to add another twist to the casing of Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2. Sonali is not only gorgeous to look at and a terrific actress, but suits the role to the ‘T’. <br /><br />My crew and I are super excited to offer her this platform.” Milan Luthria has tasted plenty of success when his last two films, ‘The Dirty Picture’ and Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai set cash registers ringing — something which Sonali is fully aware of. “Yes, it is true — I will be a part of Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2, since it is a great role. With this film, it feels like I’m coming home since Shobha Kapoor has been Goldie’s very close family friend.<br /><br />Additionally, Ekta Kapoor is a creative genius and has an amazing story sense, so I trust her judgment on this.
