JOIN USSouth Western Railways’ Jaideep Das scored a facile win over team-mate Anirban Roy to claim the men’s singles title in the 44th State-ranking table tennis tournament at the Prakash Courts in Malleswaram on Tuesday.
Das, who had ousted AR Navneeth in the semifinals, scored a 11-7, 11-9, 7-11, 11-7, 11-9 win over Roy. BS Arpitha bagged the women’s singles crown with a hard-fought 11-8, 2-11, 11-9, 11-7, 7-11, 9-11, 12-10 win over title favourite Maitreyee Bailoor.
