JOIN USA 22-year-old youth committed suicide by allegedly hanging himself at his residence in Karawal Nagar area of north east Delhi, police said on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Sachin. He worked at a dye factory and stayed with his 30-year-old sister at the rented flat. His body was found hanging from a ceiling fan by his sister on Wednesday morning.
She informed police at around 7.30 am on Wednesday after which a police control room vehicle rushed him to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. He was declared brought dead.
“Prima facie, it seems that there was no foul play in the incident. However, we are investigating from all possible angles,” a senior police official said.
No suicide note was found . Police is questioning his family members and friends to ascertain the reason behind his decision. The body was handed over to his family after post-mortem on Wednesday evening.
