'Backward communities neglected'

Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, on Sunday, alleged that the BJP government was not giving due importance to uplift the backward and Dalit communities.

He was speaking at a convention of Korama-Koracha community here in Bangalore. He said the Yeddyurappa government had not allocated funds for Korama-Koracha community in the budget. He said when he was the CM, his government had allocated funds for the welfare of Devadasis. But the BJP government did not implement the project after it came to power.
