"Big B is a big name in the industry and fortunately I have bagged a chance to sing the title track of the film with him. I am really excited as such a big name will add one royal feather in my career cap and I am eagerly looking forward to it," says Anushka
The singer was in the national capital town recently to promote the show "Khatro ke Khiladi" hosted by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

'Aladdin' stars Bachchan as the Genie and Ritesh Deshmukh as Aladdin in the film  directed by Sujoy Ghosh which began with a lot of controversy over the production banner. Ghosh who also directed 'Jhankar Beats' and 'Home Delivery' is now producing the film himself after the Sippy banner backed out.

Viva was composed of the winners of the first season of Indian version of an international television talent show and eventually disintegrated after two releases, "Hum naye geet sunaye" and "Chori chori aankhon se."

"We were actually fed up of seeing each other. We had no friends in Mumbai, we sang, ate and even went out together. So ego problems crept in which was but natural," says the 25-year-old singer. The star was recognised in the industry after the title track of 'Golmaal' and was then offered 'Chandni Chowk to China,' 'Luck' and 'Kambakht Ishq.'

"In my recent projects, I have sung 'Bebo' from 'Do not Disturb' and one track from Rishi Kapoor's 'Chintuji,'" she says. "My next projects are 'Dulha Mil Gaya,' 'Raat gayi baat gayi' and 'Alladin,' the most awaited one," she adds. After the split of Viva she became a VJ on a music channel and sung for some south Indian films. Presently she has formed her own rock band.

"I have now started with my own electro pop rock band called Shkavang. We have also recently released its first video," says the rock music lover. Anushka is also participating in the second season of Khatro Ke Khiladi this year with Gurmeet as his partner who hails from Punjab. She  desires to overcome her fear of swimming during the under water stunts in the show hosted by actor Akshay Kumar.

"I am really scared of swimming and under water stunts are the biggest nightmare for me.I hope I will over come my weakness on this show. Talking about the reality show she is starring in , the singer feels that her strongest contender is Jessy Randhawa.
"Though I am still very much a part of the game till now but Jessy is a complete surprise package for me. I think she is my strongest contender." adds Anushka.
