<p> A Deputy Superintendent of Police in Tamil Nadu was today arrested by Vigilance and Anti-Corruption personnel for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 25,000 for issuing a police verification certificate to a private educational trust.<br /><br /></p>.<p>On a complaint, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Police set up a trap and arrested DSP Selvamani of Lalgudi Division after he accepted chemically treated currencies, police said.<br />Police also raided the DSP's house at Lalgudi but no seizures were made, they said.</p>
