<p>A couple died here on Thursday after a lorry rammed into the two-wheeler they were travelling on near Baburayanakoppalu in the taluk on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Tammanna (50) and Shashikala (40) of Belagola in the taluk.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Tammanna along with his wife Shashikala was heading to Srirangapatna from Mandya when a lorry hit their mobike. Police said the accident occurred due to the callousness of the lorry driver.<br /><br />Police have arrested the driver and seized the lorry. A huge crowd gathered on the state highway following the mishap. A case has been registered.<br /></p>
