Combing intensifies

Following a team of naxals visiting Hebri, the police and ANF have intensified the combing operation in Hebri.

Confirming the team visiting the region, highly placed sources said a team of naxals had visited Hebri region. However, there are possibilities  of the team  which visited Hebri is different from the team which was spotted at Shiradi.

It is said that the naxals might have visited the area on July 16 to the house of one Hebbar in Hebri. They left the place immediately as they do not prefer staying in the same area for long time. The distance between Shiradi and Hebri is nearly 80 to 90 kms. And even if the naxal team takes the other route through forest, they need to cover 50 to 60 kms. Hence it is not possible for the same team to visit two areas in a short span of time.
