Vinod struck first for Mars in the 21st minute and doubled the tally on the half-four mark.
Prabhu Kumar then made it 3-0 in the 41st minute before Deeraj reduced parity for Muslims in the 63rd minute.
After Saravana (70th) and Anu Kumar (73rd) scored a goal each for Mars to make it 5-1, Deeraj drew a semblance of pride with his second goal in the 77th minute.
In the other match, Rahul’s double strike helped BWSSB edge MICO 2-1. While Rahul scored in the 13th and 30th minute, Staney was on target for MICO in the 72nd minute.
