Nam outplays Murugesan

Hyun-Woo Nam of Korea outplayed top seed Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan 6-3, 6-1 to enter the semifinals of the Indian Oil Servo ITF Futures Men’s tennis tournament here on Thursday.   

Displaying fluid movements and fluent strokes, Nam dominated the proceedings throughout the match.

He next plays fourth seeded compatriot Suk-Young Jeong who overcame Taipei’s Chief-Fu Wang 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) while second seeded Sanketh Myneni defeated N Vijay Sundar Prashanth 6-1, 7-5 to set up a clash with Karunuday Singh who knocked out third seed Antoine Escoffier of France 7-6 (7-4), 6-2.
