<p>Prohibitory orders under Section 144 has been clamped in the city limits in the backdrop of the attack on youth in the home stay. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The Mangalore City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh and the District Magistrate in a joint statement, have ordered that the prohibitory orders will be in force from July 29, 6 am to July 31, 6 pm. <br /><br />The prohibitory orders have been clamped to avoid any untoward incidents, keeping in mind a few past incidents where group fights had led to deaths and property loss. <br /><br />No public meeting and processions will be allowed till the prohibitory order is taken back.<br /><br />Accordingly, the public have been asked not to form a group of four or more people and assemble in a place, according to a release from the office of the Mangalore City Police Commissioner.<br /></p>
