'Raaz 3' reflects on fear of falling from stardom: Mahesh

Looking forward to the release of 'Raaz 3', producer Mahesh Bhatt says the movie deals with the fear of falling from heights of success.

"Every artist is haunted by the fear which follows him. When he reaches stardom, he gets scared of losing it all. He wants to always be at that height. We are all prisoners of fame. 'Raaz 3' dares to touch this fear which entertainers live with," Bhatt said.

Set to release on September 7, the movie is the third instalment in the 'Raaz' series after 'Raaz - The mystery continues' (2009) and 'Raaz' (2002), with Bipasha playing the role of an actress whose career is on a downfall. Calling the film a dangerous cocktail, Bhatt said, "The film may not seem realist, but has been sourced out from the heart.

The first trailer of the Vikram Bhatt-directed film was released here late last night in a spooky ambience as the cast of the film, Emraan Hashmi recited a dialogue and Bipasha Basu made an entry tearing the poster.

This romantic-horror film marks the Bipasha's return to the Bhatt camp and the franchise. While she starred in the first 'Raaz', Kangana Ranaut played the lead in the second film in the series.

Bipasha will be seen portraying emotions of revenge and jealousy in the third part of the film. "We all go through struggle but we choose not to show it. But it is important to address it at times and connect. This is why I agreed to do this character," Bipasha said.

"Initially on the sets of the film, I was lost because the scenes were so intense. I did not know how to reach the character. I haven't allowed myself to feel this way ever. But I had to let it go and finally I did," she added.

'Raaz' was her first hit film and Bipasha said she is happy to be working with the production house again. The blue-eyed boy of Bhatt camp, Emraan Hashmi, expressed hope that the film will do well at the box office.

"I want all my films to do well. This film should have a bigger opening than 'Jannat 2' also," Emraan said. Meanwhile, even as Adhyayan Suman did two Bhatt movies - 'Raaz: The Mystery Continues' and 'Jashnn', his father Shekhar Suman recently said that he felt the biggest mistake his son committed was to start with Bhatt camp.

Responding to this, producer Mukesh Bhatt said, "Only a spastic like Shekhar Suman can say something like that. His son has only one successful film which is 'Raaz 2'."

While Mahesh Bhatt chose to play safe, saying, "I don't think we should use this platform to hurl abuses at each other. We should not create conflicts. He (Shekhar) is my colleague, I have respect for him."

"If he chooses to disrespect me that is his privilege, but as an elder, I will not allow anyone to disrespect Shekhar or Adhyayan. They are a part of this journey and if they have bitterness with us, we will sort it out," Mahesh added
