Counselling: 435 students get admission to 28 courses

In all, 1,546 candidates were invited for the counselling on the third day. The candidates were admitted to the Science courses from ranks 61 to 200 in each subject.

On Wednesday, the counselling for the Post Graduate courses will be held for ranks 201 to 300 from 8 am to 1 pm. The counselling for the candidates from rank 301 onwards will be held after 2 pm.

Arts faculty

The counselling schedule for the Arts faculty will be announced on Wednesday to the concerned students through the university website, SMS alerts and press statements, the Bangalore University registrar stated in a press release.

At the end of the Tuesday’s post graduate counselling, the seat availability was: 443 General Merit seats in Biotechnology, 196 Microbiology GM seats, 129 Biochemistry GM seats, 62 GM seats in Applied Genetics, 25 GM Chemistry seats, 23 GM Communication seats, 146 SC Biotechnology seats, 69 SC Microbiology seats, 54 SC Biochemistry seats.
Many post graduate seats were also available under ST, Categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B.

First semester classes

October 5, a press release issued from Bangalore University stated.
