On the occasion of Janmashtami, Krish Art Gallery presents a series of exclusive paintings portraying the heartwarming and delightful childhood of Lord Krishna.

The paintings are great examples of fine art wherein Bal Gopal’s perpetual mischief both angers and enthralls his mother Yashoda and the brijwasi gopis.

Laddu Gopal’s acts irritated his loved ones yet his innocence also melted the hearts those around him.

His lilas as a child imparted supreme ananda to each one; while his acts of teasing carried within them tales of love for the gopis too.

The moods of the lilas has been skilfully captured by the artist - a celebrated designer and a devotee of Shri Krishna, Sunil Mehra is a prominent name in the fashion world, who simply calls himself a bhakt and according to him, he is not the one who creates Lord Krishna but Krishna is the one who him urges him to do so.

“My paintings are all dedicated to Lord Krishna on the eve of Janmashtami. I have shown all his moods with the gopis, Ma Yashodha, his cows and his dance around the trees and with the peacocks. I have depicted all his lilas which provided anand to everybody around him.”
