Warning for teachers

Kageri was speaking at the inauguration of the counselling to fill up vacancies at Government PU Colleges in State. He said teachers who had completed the probation period were eligible for transfers but those who were still on probation should not use political influence. The counselling will take place at the CET cell over the next four days and teachers for 15 different subjects will be posted throughout the State. Kageri said a total of 2,578 vacancies will be filled up in the PU colleges through counselling. All teachers who will attend the counselling have been selected through the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). The department had invited applications via KPSC in 2007 following exams which were conducted in 2008 and those selected are being posted now.
