'Niranthara Jyothi scheme will provide uninterrupted power'

Speaking after distributing cheques to the beneficiaries, he said under Niranthara Jyothi schemes, power will be supplied continuously. Rajiv Gandhi Rural Electrification Scheme is being undertaken at a cost of Rs 42 crore in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Narayanaswamy, AC Dayanand, BJP leaders Venkatasubbaiah and others were present. Congress leaders urged the Minister to connect Kalasa-Samse-Didupe-Belthangady. They also urged to repair Mahaveera Road-Kalasa-Basarikatte roads and to provide compensation to the farmers who have suffered loss due to heavy rains.

Mudigere

New technology has been installed to provide uninterupted power supply to remote villages, said Eshwarappa. He was speaking after inaugurating Auto reclosure installed by the Mescom at Horatti in Mudigere. 

Under auto reclosure system, if a power supply is stopped in a feeder then power will be supplied from other feeders at a time.  Taluk has 10 feeders. RLMS units have been installed to four rural feeders. Taluk has 32,046 electricity consumers and 2,25,83,200 unit electricity is being utilised in the taluk.
