One killed in shoot-out

 One person was killed and two others were injured in a shoot-out near Kanshi Ram Colony on Thursday night.

Some assailants attacked Pawan Kumar when he was going towards home after deboarding a train at Ajaibpur railway station.

When he raised an alarm, people from a nearby religious place came to his help but seeing the mob, the assailants fired at the people in panic killing a man named Bali in the shoot-out, police said.

Two others – Shahbudu Danis and Anis – were also injured and they were admitted to a private hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
Police said initial investigations revealed that old enmity may have been the cause of the attack.
