Redefining adventure

Indiana Jones, the whip-toting, punch-packing, snake-hating, globe-trotting archaeologist with a fedora is ready to set the television screens ablaze this Diwali.

As the nation prepares to celebrate the biggest Hindu festival this year, Star Movies joins in the celebrations with an equally big offering.

The Indiana Jones Quadrilogy created by the most respected Hollywood director, Steven Spielberg will be aired every Saturday at 9 pm this October.

The first installment of the quadrilogy, Raiders of the Lost Ark airs on October 3 at 9 pm. Set in the year 1936, Indiana Jones sets off on his first thrilling adventure where he confronts snakes, Nazis and one astonishing cliffhanger after another involving the discovery and opening of the mystical Ark of the Covenant that is believed to hold the Ten Commandments. October 10 will showcase his second adventure, this time to tackle the great terror surrounding the mysterious Temple of Doom”.

After crash-landing in India, Indiana Jones and his companions end up in a small, distressed village, where the residents claim that a dark power has stolen their precious stones and their children. The movie will air at 9 pm followed by the repeat telecast of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
