A legend on stage

The pioneer of Indian contemporary dance, Astad Deboo, is all set to perform his first solo in over 10 years at The Concert Arena , The Collection, UB City on December 16
at 7 pm.

The 60-minute solo performance, ‘Eternal Embrace’, will be presented in collaboration with renowned Japanese musician Yukio Tsuji.

With a career spanning almost 50 years, Astad has performed in 70 countries, collaborated with world-famous legends such as ‘Pink Floyd’, and worked with the government of India to celebrate the coronation of the King of Bhutan.

For the last two decades, he has worked extensively with differently-abled artistes.      
‘Eternal Embrace’ is choreographed and performed by Astad and composed by Yukio Tsuji. It explores the tension between the ephemeral and material worlds.
