<p>No decision was taken on the appointment of chairperson and members to the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) at a meeting held for the purpose by Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar on Tuesday. </p>.<p><br />Another meeting has been scheduled for August 30 to discuss the matter. <br />The two-hour long meeting, chaired by Shettar, was attended by Deputy Chief Minister R Ashoka, Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah, Opposition leaders in the Legislative Assembly and the Council Siddaramaiah and S R Patil respectively. </p>.<p>The applications for the posts have already been scrutinised by the members. But, decision couldn’t be taken for want of more information from the applicants, said Siddaramaiah. <br /></p>
