<p>Minister for Health and Family Welfare Aravind Limbavali has set a November deadline for completing the construction of 250-bed Government Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases Hospital in Indiranagar.</p>.<p><br />Speaking to reporters after inspecting the progress of work on Wednesday, he said the work on ramp, lift and compound should be completed at the earliest. The Rs 40-crore hospital will have all the facilities of a district hospital. It shall also have state-of-the-art equipment, he added.</p>.<p><br />The construction of the hospital, which started in 2008, was slated for completion on February 2011. However, the project has been delayed by a year, he added.<br />On the rise of dengue cases in the State, Limbavali said the government has taken up awareness programmes on a war footing.</p>.<p><br />In addition to government measures, people’s active participation will prevent spread of dengue, he said. </p>
