<p>The High Court of Karnataka on Wednesday upheld a single judge order allowing transfer of autorickshaw permits. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The Akhila Karnataka Shramajeeviagala Kshemabhivruddhi Sangha had challenged the order of the single judge whhich directed the State government to ensure transfer of permits in accordance with a circular dated March 23, 2011. Justice B S Patil, had refused to grant stay on transfer of permits saying that there was no such provision. <br /><br />However, he had directed the government to evolve a procedure for transfer of permits.<br />The appellant Sangha contended that the single judge failed to note that the petititioner had sought for a ban on transfer of permits.</p>
