The latest victim is a one-year-old boy from Gulbarga. He was admitted to a private hospital in the district on September 17 and expired on September 24. Results of his swab test arrived only on Saturday (September 26), confirming the boy positive for H1N1 Influenza.
Meanwhile, 15 fresh cases tested positive for H1N1 Influenza raising the number of positive cases to 990 in the State. Out of the positive cases, 13 were reported in Bangalore and one each in Bijapur and Bellary.
