The six teams will tour all 224 Assembly constituencies and prepare a list. Party leaders will then use the findings to prepare a final list. <br /><br />Teams will likely begin their assignments early next week. The entire exercise may be completed by the end of September. Nearly 100 candidates will be chosen during the first phase. The intention is to announce party candidates well in advance so that they can prepare for the polls, sources said. The teams are also tasked with identifying drawbacks — if any, and suggest appropriate solutions. This will help strengthen the party, sources said.
