It’s no secret that the Metrolife Fashion Show is one of the best platforms in the City to showcase avant-garde designs — which is why the nine finalist teams will be showcasing the creations of some of the best brands in the City.

The brands that will be part of the show are INMARK, Pantaloons, Brand Factory, Only Jia, John Players, Flying Machine, People, Kalanjali and Avirate.

INMARK

INMARK is not a concept — it’s a belief and a movement that aims at offering the Indian consumer high-end fashion at fair prices. INMARK’s main mantra, Fashion Sabka Adhikaar, is getting accomplished by providing high fashion designs at low prices without compromising on quality. Naseer Ahmed, the chairman of the brand, says, “The Spring Summer Collection is always a celebration of colour. The world over, neon is a major trend with all the big brands. INMARK believes in fashion at extremely affordable prices.”

Pantaloons

Pantaloons, a part of Pantaloon Retail (I) Ltd, is among India’s largest chains of fashion stores with 65 stores present across 30-plus major cities.  It offers trendy collections that are in sync with the young-at-heart customers. Madhumita Dutta, chief marketing, Pantaloons, says, “Pantaloons is  a brand synonymous with style and chic fashion. We cater to customers in 30 cities across the country with an amazing shopping experience through over 20 lac square feet of retail space.”

Brand Factory

Brand Factory is the final destination in the City which provides both fashion and value under one roof. Meeting the burgeoning aspirations of brand conscious consumers, Brand Factory offers both international and national brands at unbelievable discounts.  It is the perfect location to improve your wardrobe while still ensuring the proverbial pocket does not end up with a burnt hole.

Only Jia

For over three years, Only Jia, has been catering to contemporary and modern women of all ages.

It may be a fairly new brand — but the fact that it has over 20 stores across different parts of the City says a lot about its popularity. Made under the textile brand ‘S U Apparels’, Only Jia has a wide range of ethnic wear for women.

With the festive season around the corner, the collection too has kept the festive spirit in mind.

The latest collection has a vast range of salwars, anarkalis and elegant kurtas. With a burst of colours and prints, the garment has  a lot of attention to detailing. Sushil Tibrewal, the director of ‘Only Jia’, says that while designing the new collection he asked his team of designers to keep the tastes of today’s women in mind.
