JOIN USPaying water bills is now just a click away. The BWSSB launched the online payment facility on its website last week.
The Board has so far received online payments from 200 consumers with only Axis Bank as the online payment gateway at present. Consumers will, in the coming days, be able to pay the bills through their accounts in IDBI, ICICI and Indus Ind banks as well.
Consumers have to login to www.bwssb.org and register using their RR number, which is a mandatory information to be given, apart from the user name, password, email ID, mobile phone number and address. The RR number will be linked to the user name and every time a payment has to be made, the same user name must be used.
Users will have also the ‘general complaints’ and ‘view & pay bills’ options. The online facility gives consumption details of the consumers, besides access to the water bills of the past six months. Payment history and receipts can also be viewed.
