Accused in Krishnappa murder case surrenders before court

Another accused in the murder of zilla panchayat member Krishnappa surrendered before a local court here today.

Harish (26), the sixth accused in the murder of Bangalore Rural Zilla panchayat member Binnamangala Krishnappa in Nelamangala last month surrendered before Chief Judicial Magistrate S M Kalkarni.

He has been remanded to judicial custody. Krishnappa was murdered by a gang led by notorious rowdy Bettanagere Seena, who was killed in a police encounter this month.

So far, 31 persons have been arrested in connection with the case.
