Rowdy hacked to death

A notorious rowdy, who was released from the jail on bail a month ago, was hacked to death by three men in Ramachandrapura Friday afternoon.

Dileep Kumar alias Dileep, 24, a rowdy sheeter at Srirampuram Police Station, had been to a local bar along with three of his friends on Friday. After having a few drinks, an altercation broke out between Dileep and one of his friends. The three whipped out knives, stabbed him fatally and fled the bar. Dileep was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Srirampuram Police have registered a case.

Police said many cases were pending against Dileep in the Srirampuram police station.
He was arrested in connection with a murder case by the Nelamangala Police and was released recently. Dileep had married and was residing at Nelamangala before shifting to Srirampuram where his parents live. Police said Dileep had an affair with the girlfriend of one of his three friends he had been to the bar with on Friday.

H S Revanna, DCP (North), told Deccan Herald, “We have zeroed in on the three prime suspects. We do not want to disclose anything right now. We have formed a special team to investigate the case and expect results very soon.”
