Anjum Parvez is BMTC MD

IAS officer Anjum Parvez is the new managing director of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). K R Srinivas, who was the BMTC MD, has been appointed Commissioner, Transport and Road Safety.

The government on Saturday transferred as many as 20 IAS officers. Mohamed Sanaulla, Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bangalore has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department. IAS officer Sanjiv Kumar is the new DPAR principal secretary.

He also holds additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary, Minorities, Haj & Wakf Department; Dr Sandeep Dave has been given additional charge of the post of MD, Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited; V Manjula is Commissioner, Urban Transport Cell, Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department. She holds additional charge of the post of Secretary, Youth Services Department.
