<p>District in-charge minister S A Ramdas directed officials to plan for organising a ‘Samarasya Dasara’ to involve people from all religions during the Dasara festival.<br /><br /></p>.<p>He was speaking at the Dasara preliminary meeting at the office of the deputy commissioner on Tuesday.<br /><br /> He said programmes should be organised keeping in mind participation of Muslim, Christian and Parsi communities.<br /><br />Also, students who have participated at national and international-level in sports and cultural programmes would be feted during this year’s festivities.<br /><br /> He directed officials to provide publicity about the festivities by installing signages on all national highways.<br /><br />Sign boards with a list of programmes should be installed on all highways leading to Mysore and also on the Outer Ring road, he added. <br /><br />DC P S Vastrad, police commissioner K L Sudheer, MCC commissioner M R Ravi and others were present.</p>
