<p>Amid tight security, President Pranab Mukherjee arrived here on Wednesday evening on a three-day visit to the Kashmir Valley. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Official sources said the President was received by Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Union Minister for Health Ghulam Nabi Azad, state ministers, top officers of civil, police and the Army at the airport here.<br /><br />On Thursday, the President is scheduled to attend the 18th Annual Convocation at Kashmir University (KU). The previous convocation was held in June 2009 with Vice-President Hamid Ansari in attendance.<br /></p>
