GE, Wipro to integrate healthcare business

The integrated company will be called Wipro GE Healthcare said Wipro Chairman Azim Premji and GE Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Immelt at a joint press conference here.
This simplify the structure through consolidation of GE Healthcare’s life sciences and medical diagnostics business units and X-Ray manufacturing plants, the firms said.  

Meanwhile,  Wipro also conceded that it is looking out for more acquisitions in the country. “We are looking selectively looking at acquisitions... it will be a string of smaller ones,” Premji said.
