Looking for an easy way out to keep yourself abreast with the fashion trends or want to seek a suggestion from distant friends about the apparel you are planning to buy?

All you need now is an iPhone or an Android phone. Mobile applications on fashion are creating a buzz within the fashion-conscious communities, providing easy ways to discover and share photos of outfits, accessories and shoes. The trend to keep style on finger tips has now a become a big hit with Delhiites too.

No-matter-where you are, if you are wearing a cool, trendy outfit, carrying a branded bag, any beautiful accessory, you  just need to click a photo and share it on the fashion app you have downloaded on your cell.

Your friends and those following you will give remarks and try to copy you. Thanks to apps like ‘Pose’ that inspire fellow users to give their suggestions and recommendations.

Thirty-year old Shruti Shukla, a Delhi based software developer is passionate about such photo-sharing apps. It gives her an easy way to know about the trendiest nail art applied by fashionistas whom she is following on Pose.

“I am totally in love with nail art.  Pose gives me access to creative nail art photos posted by the website as well as remarks made by other users. I can also share my photos among nail art lovers for suggestions. I have discovered so many new colours, designs etc. for nail art through this app.”

For those who need ideas regarding clothes combinations, an app called Fashion Diary can turn out to be of great help. This app will manage your wardrobe, mix and match your outfit and will not let you repeat the outfit. Simply take a photograph of yourself and the app will keep a record of when you donned the outfit last time. Similar to Fashion Diary is Mystyle application.

The fashion-savvy keen on knowing the latest styles on ramps, can get an image and a review of the show on Style.com.

Shraddha Thakur, working as HR in a private firm, finds the app amazing. “I don’t need to buy a magazine. Latest news about fashion in few seconds –nothing can be easier for people like me who simply love ramp shows,” says Shraddha.

Other apps like Fashion Feed allow you to see all the best and the latest posts from the best fashion bloggers all over the world.

An app called Glamour, an IPhone app, has an interesting feature where you can get advice from a professional stylist. If you are stuck not being able to decide what to wear for the evening party then upload a photo of yourself or your outfit and write your query down.  Select a fashion stylist and go for quick decision on what to wear or not.

For the globetrotters – Snapette and Luster can be an interesting application.  They can discover and share products by location, while in US.
