UP policeman caught making lewd calls to college girls

 In a bid to teach an Uttar Pradesh policeman a lesson, who had been making lewd calls and exerting pressure on them for a physical relationship, two college girls laid a trap and got him suspended by exposing his deeds before senior officials.

The girls managed to record a conversation with Ram Narain Lal, a head constable posted at Chandauli district, and handed it over to the district police chief.

A few days ago, Lal had contacted the girls, who were planning to contest their college elections, and offered to help them with campaigning. “As Lal was old enough to be our father, we trusted him and gave him our cellphone numbers,” a girl said.

But he started making lewd calls. “He would often call us late in the night and pressurise us for a physical relationship. But we refused,” the girl added.

They asked him not to call them, but he did not listen. They then laid a trap and an unsuspecting cop fell prey to it. “When he called me on Thursday, I kept him busy for a long time and recorded the conversation. My friend did the same,” said the girl.

On Friday, the two met the district police chief with their parents. They made the official listen to the conversation. The superintendent of police Krishna Mohan suspended Lal and asked for a case to be registered against him.
