<p>A farmer ended his life in Shirasagi village of Sindhagi taluk on Saturday night.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Nagappa Hanumanth Vaddar, 34, ended his life by consuming pesticide. He is said to have taken the extreme step after being unable to repay the farm loans. <br /><br />The cotton crop cultivated in his fields have been affected by disease. <br /><br />Nagappa was shifted to the Government Hospital in Bijapur, where he died. He had taken a loan of Rs 31,000 from the Bagaluru Co-operative Society and some private loans too.<br /><br /> A case has been registered at the Sindhagi police station.<br /><br /></p>
